Dead body transport and body shifting
Two vehicles, chosen by what the journey needs rather than by what costs more. Both are fitted for carrying the departed rather than being a stretcher ambulance pressed into service, and both are booked the same way as any other SaveLife trip — with live GPS tracking from assignment to arrival.

Freezer box on rent at home
A freezer box lets the family keep the departed at home while relatives travel in, rather than moving them to a mortuary and back. We deliver, set up and collect. Pricing runs by duration, and the longer packages are discounted rather than simply multiplied — the live rates are on the freezer box page.
- Three box types, so a small flat and a large house are not quoted the same way.
- Floor-wise delivery charges are published rather than added at the door.

Embalming
Embalming is what makes a longer wait possible — for relatives flying in, or for a journey that will take more than a day. We arrange it as part of the longer freezer box packages. If you need it on its own, call: whether it is appropriate depends on the case, and that is a conversation rather than a checkbox.
What we do not decide for you
Crematorium choice, cremation charges, and the paperwork a particular hospital or facility will ask for are not ours to state in advance — they vary by facility and by case, and getting them wrong costs a family time they do not have. Dispatch will tell you what is needed for your specific situation on the call, and we will not quote a figure we cannot stand behind.
How to book an ambulance

For an emergency, calling is fastest — dispatch answers 24/7. For a planned transfer you can book online and choose pickup, drop and ambulance type yourself.

Track it to your door
Once a unit is assigned you get live GPS tracking and a pickup OTP, so you can watch the ambulance approaching instead of guessing.

Can you move a body from a hospital in Bengaluru to another city?
Intercity journeys are arranged on request. Call with the destination and we will confirm whether we can cover it and what it will cost before you book — we would rather say no than take a booking we cannot serve properly.
How is the fare for body transport calculated?
By the actual road distance for your pickup and drop, using the same distance-based fare engine as every other SaveLife trip. You see the fare before confirming. There is no separate flat 'funeral rate'.
Do you deliver a freezer box to a home, or only to a mortuary?

Is embalming included with the freezer box?

Are you available at night?
Dispatch is staffed 24 hours. Deaths do not keep office hours and neither do we.
